Amanda is a 2003 graduate of Elon University. She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a concentration in Childhood Development. Amanda Spent 4 years on the Elon University Dance Team and was the teams Captain from 1999-2003. She was as well, named the team's MVP her Junior and Senior years and was two times named an National Dance Alliance Collegiate All American. While at Elon, Amanda also danced for The Greensboro Prowlers Arena Football team, and was a member of The Elon University Dance Department.
Originally from Northern Virginia, Amanda received extensive training in competitive jazz, tap, ballet, and contemporary. In 1999 she had the opportunity to perform at the Hula Bowl in Maui, HI as an NDA High School All-American. Over the last 16 years, she has coached cheer and dance on the scholastic, all-star, and collegiate levels and has served as a guest choreographer for numerous East Coast programs. Her last 3 scholastic dance teams have a combined six national championships. Amanda continues to judge regularly on the industry’s cheer and dance circuit and is YCADA and USASF certified.
Amanda is currently in her 10th year as the Head Coach of the NC State University Dance Team and is a WCPSS middle school Special Education teacher for students with Autism.
