Amanda is a 2003 graduate of Elon University. She has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a concentration in Childhood Development. Amanda Spent 4 years on the Elon University Dance Team and was Captain all four years. She was also named the team's MVP her Junior and Senior years along with one other student athlete from each Elon University sport. While at Elon, Amanda spent a year as an Arena Football Cheerleader and began her coaching career with local middle schools and high schools.
She has coached cheer and dance on the scholastic, all-star, and college levels and has served as a guest cheer and dance choreographer for programs up and down the East Coast.
Her last 3 scholastic teams have a combined six national championships Amanda is originally from Northern Virginia, where she received extensive training in competitive jazz, tap, ballet, and contemporary. In 1999 she performed at the Hula Bowl in Maui, HI as an NDA All-American. In addition to joining the NC State Dance Team Staff, Amanda has experience as a National Director for Cheer Ltd. and continues to judge for several of the industries top cheer and dance competition companies.
Entering her 9th year coaching, Amanda is so excited to be joining the Wolfpack family and such a talented and hard working group of young women! Amanda was also head dance team coach at Elon University from 2005-2007.
